James “Wesley” Lemons, Jr., 45, of Denham Springs, Louisiana went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 2, 2017 in Louisiana. Funeral services celebrating Wesley’s life will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
Wesley was born on February 6, 1972 in Dallas, Texas. He is the son of Patsy Carolyn Davenport Boyles and James Wesley Lemons, Sr. He was raised and attended school in Lone Oak. He worked as a carpenter and loved working in house construction. He could build anything and was a hard worker. He moved to Louisiana about 9 years ago and he truly enjoyed living there. Wesley was preceded in death by his grandparents Alta & Virgle Davenport and Lester & Dorothy Lemons, step-father Dennis Boyles, first wife Robbi Cates, dear uncle Buster Lemons and cousin Leslie Lemons. He enjoyed fishing, camping, gambling, spending time with family and friends and especially being with his granddaughter Brynlee.
He is loved and will be missed by his mother Patsy Boyles of Lone Oak; father J.W. Lemons, Sr. of Lone Oak; companion Michelle Mitchel of Denham Springs, LA; daughters Brittany Lemons of Lone Oak, April Lemons of Mesquite; son Zack Lemons of Mesquite; brother Jeff Lemons and wife Jana of Point; sisters Tammy Lemons of Point, Rose Lemons of Greenville; granddaughter Brynlee Brimer of Lone Oak; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
