Cecil Duane Ragsdale was born October 23, 1955 in Dallas, TX. He passed away in Mesquite November 16, 2016.  Cecil was a very talented, self-taught guitarist.  He also served his country in the U.S. Army in Germany.

Cecil is preceded in death by his son, Shawn Ragsdale. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Amy and Stephen Bowen, father, Duane Ragsdale, and mother and stepfather, Shirlee and Ted Bannai, sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Gary Monroe, brother and sister-in-law, David and Tracey Wisk, niece April Monroe Robles, nephew Christopher Monroe, niece Ashley Wisk Medlin, niece Haley Wisk Gatlin, and great nieces Ashlyn Baxter, Sarah Gallo and Katie Beckworth, and great nephews Jagger Medlin and Knox Gatlin.
