Katherine “Carolyn” Weaver James, 90, of Quinlan went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in Wills Point. Memorial Services celebrating Carolyn’s life will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Ingram Funeral Home with Dwain Moore officiating.

Carolyn was born June 3, 1926 in Texarkana, Texas. She is the daughter of the late Steve Weaver and Estelle Sherian Weaver. She was raised and attended school in Texarkana. Later she moved to Dallas. Carolyn was married to Buddy Collins and G.O. James prior to their passing. She was a homemaker most of her life. She moved to the Lake Tawakoni area in 1972. She was also preceded in death by daughter Mary Ellen Kirklin and her sister Mary Jo Decker. She enjoyed Bingo, gambling and playing the slot machines. She was a fun loving person.\

She is loved and will be missed by her daughters Doris Moore and husband Dwain of Quinlan, Linda Lathers of Cleburne, Vicki Williams of Tioga; sons Wayne Collins and wife Jennie of Houston and Melvin Collins of Quinlan; 25 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren and numerous other nieces and nephews.
