Dearest Tomi, Jim and Alan, Our world has been a much better place with Danny in it. His genuine charisma, laughter and selflessness gave anyone who was blessed to have crossed paths with Danny a special sense of belonging. Heaven certainly gained an Angel when Danny was called home. How lucky it is for Danny though how sad for the rest of us that he had to leave behind. What a blessing to be a part of all of you! ❤️❤️😀

Praying that God will comfort all the family and give you peace. We loved Danny and will miss him. I know how your heart hurts from this lose and its okay if you cry because you will a little every day for a few months and year or two. I thank God for the good memories to comfort you all. Dorothy, it has to be extra hard to lose a child but I'm praying for you and if you need to talk please call any time. Larry, Tommy and Mike it is just as hard loosing a brother. I lost my second born angel that God gave my husband and i.As you know Danny has gone to be with our God and his father .I know they are in a beautiful place waiting for us. The pain is so great,allmost unbearable. I pray God will touch our family and friend's to ease our pain and fine peace Love you my son you will allway's livein my heart.

Having Larry Shoemake as my best friend meant I was going to be a part of the whole Shoemake clan. I met Danny in 1972 and immediately knew he was special, as are all of his brothers. He was always kind and caring. When I was able to be around him, he made me feel like a long lost friend. Always concerned about me and my family. I am so sorry for the family's loss, but know he is up there in Heaven spending time with Melton waiting for the rest of us to join them.
