Billy Franklin Wallace Sr. 72, of East Tawakoni went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at his home. Funeral Services celebrating Billy’s life will be held at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, October 21, 2016 with Pastor Lindsey Huie officiating. Interment will be immediately following at Barrett Cemetery in Van Zandt County. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 20, 2016

Pallbearers will be Billy Wallace Jr., Johnny Wallace, Coy Allison, Josh Wallace, Micah Deal and Javen Deal. Honorary Pallbearers will be Samuel Allison and Danny Hollis.

Billy was born on November 9, 1943 in Wills Point, Texas. He is the son of the late B.L. Wallace and Mary Lee Caldwell Wallace. He was raised and educated in Quinlan. Billy married the former Ms. Bonnie Ann Paine on February 25, 1995. He worked as a truck driver and he was the first “paid” fireman for Quinlan and he served with the fire department for many years. He was also preceded in death by his parents, son Ricky Wallace, grandson Nick Wallace and three sisters. He was a loving father, grandfather and a great friend to all who knew him. He had a very giving and loving spirit. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved to cook.

He is loved and will be missed by his wife Bonnie Ann Wallace; children Billy Wallace and wife Michelle of Royse City, Johnny Wallace and wife Vivian of Wills Point, Frankie Raynor and husband Jay of Quinlan, Patsy Salinas and Chris Thrapp of Quinlan, David Paine of South Carolina, Coy Allison and wife Debbie of Cash, Crystal Deal of Point; 19 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
