Bill Baldwin, passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 83, in Emory, TX. He was born on October 20, 1942, in Batavia, NY. He attended school in Medina, NY, where he played the baritone for the high school band. He attended college at the Rochester Institute of Technology, SUNY Buffalo, and the University of Texas. From 1964 to 1968, Bill proudly served in the US Air Force, stationed at Bergstrom AFB, Lackland AFB, and at Thule Base in Greenland. In 1968, he married the love of his life, Priscilla, and welcomed his only child, Christine, in 1974. He worked as an assistant Vice-President in the field of data processing for 37 years. In 2007, he retired from Bank of America in Dallas, TX.
Bill was one-of-a-kind with his dry sense of humor. He was a man of great integrity as well as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid gardener and animal lover. He enjoyed woodworking and maintaining his 70-acre homestead in East Texas.
He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and neighbors. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Isabel Baldwin of Medina, NY. He is survived by his loving wife, Priscilla, of Emory, his cherished daughter Christine Klahn of San Diego, CA, his grandson Noah Klahn of Hickory, NC, his sisters Sandra Chambers of Wilmington, DE, Linda Rooney of Calgary, Canada, and Marcia Edwards of Raleigh, NC.
Per his request, there will not be a funeral or memorial service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his name to the SPCA of Texas, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or the Gary Sinise Foundation for veterans.
