Wanda Gail (Roden) Allison

Wanda Gail Allison age 74 of Canton passed away in Dallas on February 5, 2023.

Gail was born on March 27, 1948, in Deport Texas to Luther E. Roden and Eddie Mae Cline. Gail was a lover of shopping, playing slot machines, traveling to Hot Springs with family, riding ATVs, playing games on her phone, and loved to cook. She was a very loving person; sweet, spunky, sassy, and spoiled rotten. You always knew where you stood with her. She was a very private person but loved deeply. Gail married Joe on April 15, 1963, in Dallas at his grandmother's church. They spent 60 wonderful years together. Gail loved to travel with Joe, her husband, in the 18-wheeler jump seat. Joe taught her how to drive the trucks. The highlights of her life were her children, grandchildren, and traveling the roads with Joe. She took great pride in taking care of and being with Joe. She enjoyed the wildflowers that Joe would bring her from time to time. She was all about family.

Gail is survived by her husband Joe, daughter Martha Murphee of Canton, grandchildren, Michael Murphree of Tyler, Sarah Allison of Royse City, and many extended family and friends.

Gail is preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Eddie Mae, daughter Tammy Gail Allison, brother, Luther Neal of Canton, sisters Glenda Roden of Oklahoma, and Sandra Morris of Elkhart, grandparents, Jack and Ollie Roden and James and Martha Cline.
