It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Verica Ann Harris, who left us peacefully surrounded by her family on September 1, 2025, at the age of 67. Verica was born and raised in Terrell where she lived with her family. She attended Terrell High School and was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
She married John Harris at the age of 18. They built a family of two daughters and one son.She was a homemaker and spent her time to the needs of her children. They were the love and joy of her life.
Thru her illness she demonstrated great strength, her love for family and her faith in our LORD.
Verica will be deeply missed by her children, Nila Shelton, Christina Marshell, and John Harris, as well as her loving sisters Brenda Klutts and Tammy Soto and her brothers Joey and Raymond Eric Toland. Eight Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren. Along with many nieces and nephews. Verica's laughter, kindness, and unwavering support will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She takes with her nothing but love for her family. Verica will always be remembered in our hearts and minds. She will be greatly missed.
Verica was preceded in death by: Vera Toland, Raymond Toland, Lana McCoy, Windell Toland, Kelly Williams.
