Venita Ann (Whitsel) Jackson

Venita Ann Jackson age 63 passed on September 5, 2022.

Venita born to Lester and Mary Whitsel in Roswell, New Mexico on February 9, 1959. She was married to the late Rayland Dale Hawkins. Venita worked as a CNA, this was just who she was, she needed to help others, so she was very good at her task.

Venita was a lady with many talents, she played the guitar and piano, draw and paint like a pro. She enjoyed the Jackson 5. There is not a cross word puzzle she couldn’t master. She was a very strong lady, if she set her mind to it, she would master it. She was an amazing cook and loved cooking for her family and friends. Her favorite place to be the was the ocean. 

Every stranger became family to Venita, what a blessing to the world, she followed in Christian Way.  

Venita is survived by her mother, Mary, daughters, Jamie and husband John, Rani and husband Jacob, brother, Gene, sister, Verstine and husband Vester, grandkids, Hayden, Hunter, July, Tumani, Avrie, Hazel, Ryder and Loretta Ann, niece, Heather, nephews, Jesse, Justin, and Hondo, and many extended family and friends.   

Preceded in death by, her father Lester, husband Rayland. 

Every time we hear the strings of the guitar, or the strike of the keys on the piano it will bring peace to our hearts.
