Tina Marie Lopez, age 57, from Kemp, TX, passed away on August 12, 2024. A memorial service will be held for her on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan, TX.
Tina was born on Saturday, January 21, 1967, in Dallas, TX to parents Thurman Baker and Patricia Freeman and was raised in Seagoville. She attended Seagoville High School until the 10th grade. In her early teens she began working at Dwayne’s Coffee Shop in Dallas. Her love for customer service never stopped. She loved being a waitress and chatting with her patrons about anything they brought to her tables on any day. She continued her work as a waitress at The Roost Café in Eustace until 2023.
Tina could be best described as a free spirit who did what she wanted when she wanted. She was strong-willed and brave enough to do what she put her mind to. She loved to smoke, go shopping and always played scratch off tickets to test her luck. She was the type of person who preferred to talk on the phone, and she loved her family dearly.
Tina is preceded in death by her father Thurman Baker.
She leaves behind her mother and stepfather, Patricia and Billy Waggoner of Quinlan, daughters, Tiffany Dian Adams of Quinlan and Samantha Baker, son Billy Franklin, granddaughter Liberty Dian Adams of Quinlan, sister Sheila Kay Baker of Gun Barrell City, brothers; Jessie Lee Baker and Jeffery Lynn Baker, and nieces; Annabelle Diane McElfresh of Athens, Elizabeth Anne Rummel of Eustace, and Lisa Kaye Merrifield of Gun Barrell City.
