Thomas Eugene Fincher

Thomas Eugene Fincher, 60, of Wills Point went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 21, 2019 in Rockwall. A celebration of Thomas’ life will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan.

Thomas was born on November 17, 1958 in Terrell, Texas. He is the son of Janice Whitlock Fincher and the late Clovis Fincher. He was raised and educated in Sunnyvale and Mesquite. After graduation he began traveling around the country before returning to Texas. Thomas had 2 kids, Raymond Fincher and Harveyetta Stewart that he loved very much. He married the former Miss Sherry Ann Godfrey on March 17, 2010. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents Florence Belle Whitlock, Raymond Thomas Whitlock and sister Deborah Kay Tillison.  He enjoyed the outdoors, especially the beach, fishing, hunting and traveling. He always stayed busy and was willing to help a friend anyway he could. He had a passion for building trucks and all types of music. He was ‘Poppa’ to his grandkids and he dearly loved spending time with them.

He is loved and will be missed by his wife Sherry Fincher; mother Janice Fincher of Wills Point; sons Raymond Fincher & Fiancé Jodi Lipscomb of Seagoville, Eric & Brandi Hill of Farmersville, Josh & JoAnne Hill of McKinney, Cody & Yayoi Hill of Wichita Falls; daughter Harveyetta &  Matt Stewart of Forney; brother Michael & Amy Fincher of Quinlan; sister Christie Bailey & Mary White of Stamford; grandchildren Tara and Hayden Fincher  of Kaufman, Eli Stewart of Forney, Xander and Zachary Ryan Hill of Farmersville, Julia, Claire & Eugene Hill of Wichita Falls; nephew Michael and Allison Fincher; niece Tiffany and Jeremy Bickerstaff; and many great-nephews and great-niece.
