Obituary

Tracy Lynn Martin, 61, of Lone Oak passed away on April 21, 2023. He was born on June 21, 1961, in Roanoke, Virginia to Bruce Martin and Dorothy Furrow.  

Tracy grew up in the Dallas area and attended W.W. Samuel High School in Pleasant Grove. He spent most of his time working as the VP of Walker Engineering. Tracy met the love of his life Deborah Kay White, and they married on June 25, 1998, in Garland, TX. In his free time, he learned to play the guitar and enjoyed the outdoors. Tracy was an avid golf player who loved to be out on the green. He was a loving husband, father, coworker, and friend who will be truly missed.  

Tracy is survived by his wife Deborah Martin; Mother Dorothy Furrow, daughters Brittany Surfess and husband Anthony of Canton, Mallory Martin of Grand Saline; stepsons Jason Baldwin and wife Rebecca of Wolfe City, Chris Baldwin of Rockwall; sister Kimberly Peace and husband Greg of Mineola, and grandchildren Henley, Harlow, Ryder, and Carter.  

Tracy was preceded in death by his father, and brother Todd Martin. 

A memorial service will be held on: 

Saturday May 6th, 2023, at 1:00 PM
