Steven Lynn Lawrence

Steven Lynn Lawrence, 67, of Terrell went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 15, 2020. A Celebration of Life will be Held at 8:00 PM (Doors open at 7:00) on Saturday January 25, 2020 at Colquitt Road Church of Christ in Terrell with Chaplain Dennis Hogan officiating.

Steven was born on September 26, 1952 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. He is the son of the late Curtis and Charline Nowlin. Steven served two tours in Vietnam and served in the United States Army from 1970 to 1982 and was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant. He was married to Debbie Lawrence on August 28, 2010 and they made their home in Terrell. He worked for 16 years at O’Reillys. He was a member of The Disabled American Veterans organization. Steven enjoyed growing roses, working on vehicles. He collected salt/pepper shakers and eagles. He loved spending time with his friends and family. Steven is proceeded in death by his parents Curtis and Charline Nowlin, daughter Shawna Loyless, brother Robert Lawrence, sister Joann Knight, first wife Marcella Morris Lawrence, grandparents Walter and Ollie Clayton.

Steven is loved and will be missed by his wife Debbie Lawrence, sons Steven L Lawrence Jr., Charles K Lawrence and wife Shanell Lawrence, brothers Kenneth Moyle, Jack Lawrence, sister Ruth Ann Gates, grandchildren Kaitlyn Lawrence, Timothy Curtis Lawrence, Destiny Lawrence, Gabrielle Lawrence, Tanner Loyless, great grandchildren Charles William Davis, Elijah Kurtis Lawrence, Bentley Loyless, Hayden Grace Loyless, Paisley Loyless.
