Steven Michael Busby, age 46 passed away on July,14, 2022
Steven was born on November 21, 1975, in Beeville, to Rodney Lee Busby and Julia Ann Spencer. He was raised in Imperial Beach, California and relocated back to Texas as an adult.
Steven worked as a plumber and was a social butterfly that enjoyed music, church, and family. He Played little league as a youth. He enjoyed it up through his adulthood and was on a couple of church softball teams. That prompted his love of all sports, and you could often find him watching football or golf with cold beer in hand grilling. Steve was a fighter in every sense of the word. Never complained even though he was going through so much. He will forever be a constant support because of the strength he showed to those around him. As stories of him have come up, his laugh has been most memorable. Please continue to pray for our family and respect our privacy.
A celebration of Steve’s life is being planned. We will be coordination with other groups to have a simultaneous celebration.
He is survived by his wife, Taffina Busby, sons: Michael Busby of CA., Braxton Busby, of Malakoff, Preston Amason of Sasebo, Japan, daughters: Lauren Reyes of Mabank, Jessica Busby of CA., brothers: David Spencer of CA., Cody Busby of Grand Prairie, sister, Dria Haynes Musick of Payne Springs and grandmother, Francis Landers of Lancaster, 3 grandchildren and one on the way, two granddaughters, Mia and Angela, one grandson, Aaron, and his best friend Spartacus, his rottweiler.
Preceded in death by his parents Rodney and Julia.
Rest in peace.
