Sherrye Beth Pruitt, born on December 22, 1949, in Greenville, TX, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2024.
She dedicated over 24 years of her life to working as a Chief dispatcher for the Hunt County Sheriff's Department, from 1981 to 2005. Sherrye loved her job and the wonderful colleagues she worked alongside, always bringing a warm smile and a caring heart to her role. She truly had the most amazing heart, always going out of her way to help family and friends with anything they needed. In her spare time, Sherrye enjoyed drawing and sending funny videos and pictures to brighten up her loved ones' days. She had a soft spot for Hallmark movies and cooking shows, spending many evenings curled up on the couch, sharing laughs and creating memories with her family. Her love for cooking was legendary, and her family will forever cherish those delicious meals and the warmth of her home. Sherrye's spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched with her kindness and generosity. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
