Sandra Kay (Rust) Laughlin

Sandra Kay Rust Laughlin, age 53, of Quinlan, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 2, 2021.A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 3:00P.M.at Lakeview Church in Quinlan. Family requests guests wear masks and respect social distancing.

Sandra Kay Rust was born on June 4, 1968, in Andrews, Texas to Mr. Herbert Leon Rust and Billy Ruth Vernon Rust. She was raised in Gustine, Texas and graduated from Gustine High School where she served as Salutatorian and school Mascot. Following graduation, Sandy enrolled into Howard Payne University and worked in the financial aid office. Sandy began working for Journey Golf Carts in Greenville in

November of 2014, and remained a valued member until her death. She was a member of Lakeview Church. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandsons. She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert on September 30, 2003, her mother, Billy on May 6, 2011, and her niece, Angela Jackson on October 19, 1995.

She is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by her daughters, Kassaundra Laughlin of Denton and Alyxandria Davis and husband Robby of Quinlan; sisters, Susie Jackson and husband Allen of Hobbs, New Mexico, and Carol Lewallen and husband Jim of Lingleville; brothers, Richard Rust and wife Ginger of Gatesville and Vernon Rust and wife Becky of Comanche; grandchildren, Joshua Davis, and Austin Davis both of Quinlan.
