Roy Michael Tubesing, born on December 28, 1944, in Richmond, Indiana, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, in Quinlan, Texas, at the age of 80. He is remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a skilled cabinet maker who dedicated his life to his craft as a self-employed tradesman.
Mike proudly joined the United States Air Force on July 2, 1963, and served as an Airman First Class, an experience that shaped his strong values and love for his country. He enjoyed traveling and embraced every opportunity to explore new places, often sharing those adventures with his beloved family. An avid gardener, Mike found joy in nurturing his plants and cultivating beauty in his surroundings. He was an avid bird watcher. He also had a passion for sports, which provided him with many cherished memories spent with family and friends.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Linda Tubesing, and their children, Michele Damron and husband Doug Damron of Olney, TX. Monty Tubesing and wife Jennifer of Richmond, IN. Matthew Wilhelm and wife Liz of Williamsburg, MA. Stacy Wilhelm of Dallas, TX. He was a proud grandfather to Jordan Foley and husband Brandon of Weatherford, TX. Joshua Duzan of Pantego, TX. Kendal Tubesing, Mandy Tubesing, Zoey Tubesing LeHigh Acres, FL. Joseph Tubesing and wife Allison of Indianapolis, IN. Adam Tubesing and wife Kalyn of Connersville, IN. and Lauren Tubesing of Indianapolis, IN., as well as a step-grandfather to Ruby Wilhelm-Klarich of WIlliansburg, MA., Kennedy Damron and Grayson Damron of Graham, TX., and many great grandchildren. His legacy of love and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
A burial service will be held on November 17, 2025, at 2:30 PM at 664 County Road 3357 in Saltillo, Texas, where friends and family will gather to celebrate Mike's life and the many memories they shared.
