Ronald Dager

Ronald R. Dager, 82, of Alba, TX, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026. Ron was born on April 18, 1943, in Lynn, Massachusetts, to Bert and Mae Dager. As part of a military family, he lived numerous places around the country during his early years. His exposure to the military inspired a desire to serve, and he later joined the U.S. Navy.

After his service, Ron spent many years in Texarkana and Emory, TX. In recent years, Ron made his home in Alba, where he was grateful for the friendship and support of the neighbors who became his friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynette. He is survived by his sister, Bonnie Lamb; his son, Richard Dager; his daughter, Debra Dager; his granddaughters Dani Ortiz and Roxi Dager; his grandson Jimmie Brenton; and his great-grandchildren Serenity Dager, Maximus Ortiz, and Nicklaus Ortiz.

A celebration of life is yet to be determined.
