Robert Glenn Dyson of Quinlan, Texas passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021, at the age of 88. After several months of declining health, Robert died peacefully.
Robert Glenn Dyson was born in Hastings, OK on May 2, 1933, to father Ernest Ollie Dyson and mother Anna Mae Dyson. The oldest of three, Cora Owens, and Luther Dyson who preceded him in death. Robert enlisted in the Marines during the Korean war and was stationed in Okinawa Japan. He was very proud of his time in the Marines and would tell us stories of his time the service. Robert loved to watch his wrestling and western shows on tv. He loved woodworking especially making things out of old barn wood. He loved his flowers and gardening as well as anything that would get him outside.
Robert Glenn Dyson left behind a large family which loved him dearly. Gary and Michele Dyson, Kim Jones, Debra Dyson, Kristy and Chris Blankenship, Becky Cope, Ryan and Helen Doer, Brian and Kristy Caldwell, Charlie and Kelly, Victoria Aslin, Chris and Lucretia Aslin, Amanda and Rusty Phillips, Kelly Woodral, Brittani Blankenship, Briana Blankenship, and Richard Owens. There are tons of great grandkids that will also miss him.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother Luther Dyson and sister Cora Owens. He is survived by his children Gary Dyson, Kim Jones, Debra Dyson and several grandchildren.
