Robert Lee Dehart 63 of Quinlan went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, December 16, 2015 in Greenville. Funeral services celebrating Robert’s life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday.
Robert was born October 5, 1952 in Athens, Texas. He is the son of the late Sam Melvin Dehart and Bonnie Joyce Lambright Dehart. He was raised and attended school in Dallas. He married the former Miss Becky Winkles on July 30, 1976 and they made their home in Dallas before moving to Lewisville in 1985, then on September 11, 2001 they moved to Quinlan. Robert worked as supervisor for Oak Farms Dairy for 33 years, retiring in February 2010. Robert enjoyed fishing, avid Dallas Cowboy fan, playing baseball, going to casino’s, taking cruises, riding his horses, helping with anyone’s projects, but his favorite time was spent being with his family and friends.
He is loved and will be missed by his wife Becky Dehart of Quinlan. Sons, Sonny “Nick” Dehart & his partner Brian Raydon of Ft. Worth and Christopher Dehart & wife Jennifer of Odessa. Grandson, Haylen. Sister, Joyce Featherston of Crowley. Brothers, Lynn Dehart & wife Mary Joyce of Trinidad and Tony Dehart & wife Eva of Sulphur Bluff.
