Rich Diamond, age 54, of Quinlan, passed away, January 11, 2021. A celebration of his life will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan with Rev. Robert Turner officiating.
Richard Patrick Diamond was born on February 22, 1966 in Rochester, New York to Richard Patsy Diamond and Grace Brinks Diamond. He was raised in Rochester and attended Edison Technical School in Rochester. Rich worked for 5 years as a mechanic and driver for Rist Transportation in Waterloo, New York. He met Tina Marie Sweeting on April 2001 in Wolcott, New York and they married on October 30, 2004. He worked for Republic Garbage Company in Commerce in 2018. He also worked as a custodian for the Caddo Mills ISD until March 2020. Richard enjoyed fishing, building models, and listening to rock music. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
He is loved and missed by his wife, Tina Diamond of Quinlan, parents, Richard and Grace Diamond, sons, Richard Paul Diamond and Nickolas Diamond, sisters, Lisa and husband Michael Mellors and Kim Diamond and wife Denise, four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and in-laws, Sandra and husband Thomas Peninger, Aaron Marks and wife Kathleen, Ed and Fran Marks and Donna Marks Whitelaw.
