Rex Durant Webb, 74, of Gun Barrel City went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 11, 2022. He was born on December 29, 1947, in Grand Prairie to Willis Durant and Lavern Olson Webb.

Rex attended Spruce High School in Dallas. After high school, he proudly served our country in the United States Army. He married the love of his life Terri Glenda Funk on April 2, 1999, in Balch Springs. Rex was loved and respected by all who knew him. He enjoyed fishing and loved all types of games: dominos, cards, and puzzles. Rex knew and loved the Lord. He attended Cedar Creek Church of God.

Rex is survived by his wife, Terri Glenda Webb; daughter, Renee Webb of Euless; sons: Doug Dennie and Gracia of Forney, Bryan Dennie and Elyna of California; brother, Max Alan Webb and Donna of Royse City; sisters: Debra Mae McDaniel and Ted of Kemp, Sherry Lynne Hensley and Jimmy of Tyler; grandchildren: Wyatt Etheridge and Ashly, Lyric Hess and Jacob, Rick Dennie and Devin, Clara Dennie; 3 great-grandchildren; K9 baby, Maggie; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Jeremy Groom.

There will be a family led memorial at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Cedar Creek Church of God, 142 Rodney Ln, Gun Barrel City, 75156. Flowers can be delivered to the church.
