Raymond "Wyatt" Young

Raymond “Wyatt” Young, age 18, of Quinlan, Texas, passed peacefully from this earth in his sleep, on March 21, 2022.

Wyatt was born on August 12, 2003, to Lewis Ray Young and Evette Coss Young, in Irving, Texas. He was raised in Quinlan and graduated from Ford High School. Wyatt was a member of FFA, showing cattle and was on the High School Fishing team. He played select and high school baseball as a catcher and pitcher. He also played football. Lastly, he loved playing golf and hunting. Wyatt was an upstanding young man in the community. He never met a stranger. He was well known and respected by many. He made his mother and father proud every day and was a brother to be looked up to. He gave so much love to everyone and received the same in return.

Survived by his parents, Lewis & Evette Young, along with his brother, Hudson of Quinlan, TX; grandmothers: Diana Coss of Holly Lake Ranch, TX & Nola Royal of Wills Point, TX; great-grandmother Marta Coss of Raymondville, TX; aunts and uncles: Rhonda Pettitt of Dallas, TX; Bryan Young & wife, Pamela of Mansfield, TX; Rayla Brenstul & husband, John of Fort Myers, FL; Raymond Allen Young & wife, Paula of Miami, FL; Tammy Royal & husband, Brian of Royse City, TX; Jimmy Barker & wife, Joni of Lovelady Texas; Rocky Coss & wife, Jennifer of Van, TX; Erica Moss & husband, Jeff of Caddo Mills, TX; Samantha Huckaba & husband, Brett of Caddo Mills, TX; Dustin Tamplen of McKinney, TX; Dana Knight & husband, Johnny of Mesquite, TX; Donald Storey & wife, Lena of Lillian, TX; great aunts & uncles: Goldie Tomlinson & husband, David of Alvarado, TX; Faye Davis of N. Richland Hills, TX; Lala Meyers & husband, Joe of Grand Prairie, TX;  Irene Coss of Raymondville, TX; Isabell Elwood & husband, Wayne of Garland, TX; numerous cousins.

Preceded in death by grandfather, Raymond Lee Young; grandmother, Eula May Young; grandfather, Rocko Coss; aunt, Renee Young and uncle, Lloyd Davis.

Pallbearers; Hudson Young, R. J. Moss, Justin Gray, Diego Utrera, Bryce Sandman & Chase Radney.

Wyatt was taken peacefully from this earth but will live forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
