Ralph Edward DeVoge, 81 of Quitman TX, passed away at his home on 8/21/2025.
He was born in Harris County Texas on February 28, 1944, to James and Elsie DeVoge.
Ralph attended school thru the 8th grade. After school and serving in the Navy, Ralph worked for the Texas prison systems for many years. A proud veteran, Ralph served in the Navy from 1961-1967, attaining the rank of BT3 84 SR before his retirement. He served in the USS Providence CLG6 at San Francisco, California then transferred to the Naval Reserve Manpower Center in Bainbridge, Maryland, and served in the Viet-Nam war. Ralph was proud to have done his duty to help defend the freedom of citizens across this country.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents-James and Elsie DeVoge, two brothers, Richard and James DeVoge, his daughter-Kim and his wife Roberta known to most as Bert.
Ralph is survived by Diane, his sister, two daughters Lisa & Kelley, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. Ralph was loved by many and will be dearly missed, he was always willing to help and lend a hand, he loved his children, and family.
Ralph E. Devoge will be buried next to his wife Roberta Devoge on October 4th at the Ringling Cemetery in Ringling, Ok.
