Obituary
Royce Wayne Ray 63 of Quinlan Texas born on October 15, 1959, went to be with his precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 2, 2023, after a brave and determined long fight against cancer. He is now completely healed and free from all pain and struggle. The last 3 days of his life here on earth he was surrounded by his wife Cynthia Ray, his son James Herman Ray, and many families and friends. His hand was held the entire time by someone who loves him.
Royce Wayne Ray treated everyone with kindness and compassion unconditionally. He enjoyed spending time with his loved ones gardening, especially tomatoes, flowers and all the sports in general. Most of his time was spent with his family and friends.
Royce Wayne Ray is proceeded in death by his father Royce Lee Ray, his mother Mary Louise Ray, his brother Stephen Glenn Ray and stepsister Doris Ray.
He is survived by his wife and life partner Cynthia Ann Ray of 20 years, his son James Herman Ray, daughter Leslie Covington, son-in-law Clayton Byington, and two beautiful grandsons, Baylor, and Scout. He leaves behind many extended family and friends who love him dearly.
A Celebration of his life will be at 1:00 pm Saturday May 13, 2023, at Lakeview Church Quinlan, 11020 FM 751 Quinlan Texas with Pastor Adam Williams Officiating.
