Philip Gabriel Janosko, born on February 25, 1950, in Oakland, California, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025. A dedicated family man, Philip is survived by his wife, Kathi Janosko; his daughters, Sabrina Dominguez and Angela Blackerby; son-in-law Roberto Dominguez; son-in-law Robert Blackerby; and his cherished grandchildren, Rosalynn, Colton, Robert Jr., Michael, and Walker.
Philip proudly served in the United States Army, enlisting in 1970 and achieving the rank of Specialist 5 before his discharge in 1976. During his service, he had a tour of duty in the Vietnam war becoming a skilled helicopter and aircraft mechanic, after returning from Vietnam he was stationed at Fort Rucker as an air traffic controller, showcasing his dedication and diligence. After his military career, he transitioned to the trade of lineman with Garland Power and Light, where he utilized his technical skills and a strong work ethic to serve his community.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Philip had a profound passion for adventure and exploration. He enjoyed scuba diving, snorkeling, and sailing, eventually becoming a certified dive master. His love for travel allowed him to experience diverse cultures and landscapes, making countless memories that his family will cherish forever.
Philip Janosko's presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, adventure, and dedication will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
