Patricia Angus

Patricia Ann was born to Loyd E. Angus Sr. & Mary J. Trevinó Angus on Christmas Day, December 25th, 1960, which already meant she was special because she shared a birthday with our Lord Jesus Christ.

She passed her way, sharing laughs and smiles (and some eye rolls about old memories) at home with her family by her side and in prayer on May 24th, 2026.

She was a caregiver from early on, helping care for her five siblings: Thomas, Rose, Jr., John, and Sharon. Later in life, she continued providing care not only to her loved ones but also while working in a local nursing home. She served as an in-home caregiver to her aunt Gladys Oakley, her grandmother Delores Trevinó, her uncle Julian Trevinó, and her close friend Lady G. After the passing of her father, she lovingly cared for her mother, Mary Trevinó Angus, as well.

Patricia had a warm heart and never spoke ill of anyone; she had a kindness that you could clearly see in her eyes and her smile. She was a helper; she was always willing to share a meal or anything she had to offer to comfort someone in need. She remained close to her uncle Larry Oakley and aunt Wanda Hampton. Being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother is where you could see her love and devotion the most. She was a mother to James Anthony Angus, grandmother to Lexi, Aaliyah, Matthew, and Brody, and great-grandmother to Kailynn.

We hope she knew what an angel she truly was and that her good deeds and true love for her family and friends will be how she is remembered. We will always hold her in a special place in our hearts, and Christmas will be a very special day, and we pray she is with us in spirit to celebrate her memory...
