Otis Wayne Keck, age 92, of Quinlan, Texas, went to be with his Lord and Savior on 24 May 2026, surrounded by his loving family at his home on Keck Hill.
Born on September 8th, 1933, in Nocona, Texas, he was the son of the late Otis Keck and Delia Lumley Keck. Wayne was a man who valued hard work, honesty, and a firm handshake. He was the type of person who would choose to repair a broken item over buying a new one, and he made sure to pass that dedication and resourcefulness onto his children and grandchildren.
To his colleagues of 30 plus years in the oil and gas industry he was a trusted mentor; to his children, he was a loving but fair guide. Wayne especially loved gardening, and he always had a flourishing one…He definitely had a green thumb. He enjoyed spending his relaxing time crappie fishing in the creek behind his house. He was an avid fan who was always cheering on the Dallas Cowboys.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and integrity, survived by his children, Don Keck, Cindy Keck Donahue, and Kevin Keck; son in law Kelly Donahue; Grandchildren, Tamissa Cheree Keck John Wayne Donahue, Kelci Tittle and husband Houston, Dallas Keck and wife Krista Wood - Keck, Katie and husband Kutter Werning, and special friend Josh Vaughan, Great-Grandchildren, Remy Wayne Tittle, John Tucker Tittle, J.D. Tittle, Koah Keck, Haven Keck, Jayda Bradley, Knox Werning, and Kohen Werning; Sisters, Joyce Jackson, Gayle Shackelford, Betty Brandon, Linda McGaughey and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Dorothy Oldham, Lois Womack; his brothers, J.D. Keck and Hugh T. Keck; his brothers-in-law, Louie Oldham, Clifford Womack, Ken Jackson, and Don Shackelford; his beloved wife, Patsy Rawls Keck; and his youngest son, Karl Douglas Keck.
A celebration of Wayne’s life will be held on Monday, June 1st, at 1:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home, located in Quinlan, Texas. There will be no graveside service; therefore in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Otis Wayne's honor to any of his 3 favorite charities: Wounded Warrior Project, your local animal shelter (SPCA), or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
