Ora Mae Samples

Ora May Samples, age 88, of Quinlan, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021. Visitation will be held from 4:00P.M.- 6:00P.M. Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan. A private burial will be held following the visitation.

Ora May Samples was born on May 16, 1932 in Wilson, Oklahoma. She was born to the late Mr. Elbert Cleo Adams and Tressie Angeline Vaughan Adams. She married Mr. Loyd Finch on November 4, 1950 and he preceded her in death. She later married Mr. Hulon L. Samples on March 26, 1966 and he also preceded her in death. Ora was an active member of New Hope Baptist Church and had a passionate love for her Lord and Savior. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Finch; stepson, Tony Samples; five brothers, Vernon Adams, Virgil Adams, E.C. Adams, Wayne Adams, Anthony Adams; sister, Ruth Tynes; sister-in-laws, Clara Adams and Mara Adams and brother-in-laws, Johnny Tynes and Bob Brodner.

She is loved and will be missed by her sons, Curtis Finch and wife Lily, and Timothy Finch and wife Clara both of Quinlan; sister, Nellie Brodner of Dallas; stepdaughter, Shelia Smith of Greenville; daughter-in-law, Carolann Finch of Quinlan, 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren on the way.
