Nila Gay Aldridge Vandenburgh went to her Lord and Savior on October 7, 2021, in Desoto Texas. Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 13, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held at Ingram Funeral Home on Thursday October 14, 2021, at 2:00 P.M, Pastor Roger Ratliff will be officiating.
Pallbearer’s will be Jason Aldridge, Lee Aldridge, Jeff Coburn, Bryan Coburn, Dustin Pope, and Trent Johnson.
Nila was born on August 18, 1955, to the late Jack Aldridge and Mary Moffitt in Terrell Texas and raised in Quinlan where she graduated from Quinlan High School in 1973. She was a mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother who loved her family. In her spare time, she loved to paint, arts and crafts and knitting. She worked in the medical field, and she worked at E-Systems for a while, but her passion was being a bank teller for Region’s bank where she retired. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Beth Aldridge, brothers Bobby Aldridge, Joe Aldridge, Durrell Aldridge.
She was loved and dearly missed by her sons Brad Puryear and Jordan of Greenville Texas, Scott Puryear and Savannah of Desoto Texas, Mark Vandenburgh II and Billie of Omaha Nebraska, brother Mike Aldridge and Susie of Terrell Texas, sister Sue Coburn and Rick of Quinlan Texas, Grandchildren Corey Gore, Grace Vandenburgh, Allie Vandenburgh, Bryce Vandenburgh, Zak Vandenburgh, many family, and friends.
