Mylinda Mae Cason Jones, born on September 8, 1954, in Emory, Texas (age 70) of Emory, Texas passed away in the early hours of January 24, 2025. She went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with family all around her. A family led celebration of her life will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Clarks Chapel Church of God at 6345 FM 47, Point, Texas 75472.
Mylinda was a woman of God and a lifelong member of Clarks Chapel. She was blessed with a servant’s heart and loved serving others through her gifts. She was an incredibly talented baker and would create delicious sweets for the church youth groups bake sale. Her lemonade pie was an especially coveted dessert at fundraisers and family functions. Mylinda was a proud Nanny who loved caring for and spending time with her family. When she wasn’t helping or caring for others, Mylinda enjoyed art, puzzles, coloring, bingo, and dirt track racing.
Her compassionate heart will be missed but her legacy of love continues with those whose hearts she touched. She is survived by her three daughters, Misty Miller; Cristy Jones; Lisa (Dan) Higgins. Sixteen Grandchildren Cristina, Jonathan (Danielle), Erica, Jessica (Bobby), Vallerie, Anthony Jr., Kevin, Amber, Alyssa (Mikeal), Makaylee, Shayla, Johnny Jr. and Benjamin. Seven Great-Grandchildren Samantha, Madeline Rose, Brileigh, Jordan, Jace, Julia Rose and Amarie, Devin. She is also survived by her siblings: Vickie Cason, Kanetha Burchett, Eddie Klump (Jeannie), David Cason, Lynn Cason (Debbie) and many other loving family members including her Aunt Margret and niece Tonia, who had a special place in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Irene Cason, her husband Jon Rodney Jones, her brother Ronnie Cason, her sister-in-law Gale Tuttle, and great grandson Mikey.
