Michelle Rene Munson Brown, age 56 of Quinlan, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 5, 2020. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, September 13th at 2:00 P.M. at Vansickle Baptist Church in Greenville, Texas.
Michelle was born on January 10, 1964 in Wichita, Kansas to Sally and Richard Munson. She was the oldest of three children and the oldest grandchild on her mom’s side. After graduating high school and trying out the Army, she moved to Texas and had her son Nicholas. Several moves later between Kansas and Texas, they finally settled in Texas along with her second son Dustin. Michelle worked at various different jobs, but she was a caregiver by nature; she loved taking care of people, especially her grandma. She lived a lot of life before meeting the love of her life - her Huckleberry. They created a life together in what surely was not near enough time, but she had finally found her soul mate. Michelle was always up for trying something new, so with Gary by her side, she completed a mud run, went parasailing, went hunting and camped at Beaver’s Bend. She enjoyed playing slots, eating crab legs, soaking up the sun and traveling, but nothing made her happier than being with her grandbabies. Her tattoos personified her “devil-may-care” attitude and her zest for life.
Michelle never backed down from a fight; she was a warrior in her battle against cancer. Between the treatment and the disease itself, she fought valiantly. She won some and she lost some, but she always did it with a smile on her face and a positive attitude.
Michelle is loved and will be greatly missed by her husband Gary, her son Nicholas and his sons Jaxen and Rhyze; her son Dustin and his fiancee Ashley and their son Emerson, as well as daughter Lydia and her mother Brittney; her parents Sally and Richard, her brother Brad, and her sister Kathy and her husband Randy, her nieces Kristina and Desiree’ and her nephews Reece, Pierce, and Brandon; and her very special great-nieces Kaidence, Jada, and Kamdyn and her great nephew Carter; and her grandmother Sarrah.
She will always be our Mouse, our Lala, and our Buttercup.
