Michael Fink Obituary

Michael Dean Fink, born on April 17, 1964, in Verdun, France, unexpectedly passed away on March 27, 2026, in Forney, Texas with his loving wife Jamie Fink by his side. He leaves behind a legacy of love and joy that will be cherished by his family and friends. He was a shining light in every room he entered, never hesitant to provide a good laugh through his unique, quirky style of humor and trying to bring a little Jesus with him everywhere he went.

A loving husband to his wife Jamie, Michael was also a proud father to his children, Josh and Kelsey Fink, Nick and Brooke Fink, and a joyful grandfather to Nick and Brooke's daughter, Pyper Fink, who was the light of his life. He is also survived by his parents, Doyle and Donna Fink, his sister Cindi Fink and brother-in-law Skip Miller, as well as his dear cousins Billie and Jamie Barnes and Aunt Terri Hull. Michael's loving family extended to his in-laws Todd and Valerie Bell as well as their children, Chase Bell, his fiancé Jessie Lanier, and Taylor Alonzo, and her husband Brandon Alonzo, whose relationships he cherished.

Michael had an adventurous spirit that was reflected in his many hobbies. He found freedom in motorcycles, tranquility in fishing, and excitement in traveling to new places. Michael was a perpetual tinkerer, never turning away a new project. Growing up, his parents frequently purchased broken clocks for him to repair, instilling a lifelong curiosity of how things work and how he could fix them. He enjoyed the thrill of thrifting, always on the lookout for hidden treasures that he could excitedly share with his friends and family.

His thirst for knowledge kept him learning new things and sharing his discoveries with those he loved. Most importantly, Michael cherished spending time with his family, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

He was a dedicated IT professional in the healthcare industry, working at Methodist Hospital, where his selfless attention to detail and passion for technology improved the lives of countless patients and the staff that cared for them. His leadership fostered a camaraderie and passion for helping others among his teammates and those he worked alongside.

As we celebrate Michael's life, we remember the joy and laughter he brought to everyone around him. His spirit will live on in the stories we share and the love we continue to express in honor of the wonderful man he was.
