Michael Ray Cagle Sr., born on February 19, 1952, in Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully from natural causes on February 5, 2026, in West Tawakoni, Texas. . He is survived by his children,Michael Cagle jr., Vickie Cagle, Robert Cagle, and stepchildren Tina Lyons and Jr Ybarbo, along with his cherished grandchildren: Dayton Cagle, Jace Cagle, Tatum Cagle, Gavin Cagle, Hazel Moore, Shy-ann Reynolds, and Candace St.Clair. As well as six great-grandchildren, Amalie, Taylee, Waylon, Weston, Tripp, and soon-to-arrive Lettie, He is also survived by several siblings, including Barbara Nicholson, Linda Cagle, and Kevin Cagle.
Michael was a proud veteran of the United States Army, where he achieved the rank of drill sergeant. His passion for outdoor activities led him to find great joy in fishing, and he was an avid competitor in bass tournaments across Texas. He was a former member of organizations such as C.A.S.T. and B.A.S.S., reflecting his deep commitment to the sport and the fishing community. Beyond fishing, Michael enjoyed frequent trips to the casino, where he relished the excitement and thrill of the games.
The family is planning to hold a memorial gathering to celebrate Michael's life and the memories he created with his loved ones. He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his dedication to family, and his love for the great outdoors.
