Obituary

Melinda Lee Pruitt (Mindy), 67 of Wills Point, TX passed away on August 22, 2023. A memorial service will be held following cremation at Garber Methodist Church in Garber, OK on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023 at 10:00am. Internment immediately following at Garber Cemetery.

She was born on May 25, 1956, in Enid, Oklahoma to Hulen High (Tobe) and Vada Jane Pruitt. She was raised in Garber Oklahoma and attended school there with the class of 1974. Her hobbies include reading, gardening, cooking & photography throughout her life. She was an ace card player, a self-proclaimed karaoke star, and always had a great story to tell. However, she loved coffee and conversation with family and friends most.

Mindy is survived by daughter Lavada Greenwood and husband Brandon of Andrews, TX. brother Randy Pruitt and wife Kathy of Edmond, OK. Sister’s Glenda Sutton and Peggy Milburn of Ok, grandchildren Toby and Jocelyn Kirk and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mindy was preceded in death by her parents, brother Larry Pruitt, sisters Pat Hixon and Gloria Powell and granddaughter Briana Schneider.
