Mary Dolores (Yarbrough) Ross

Mary Dolores Yarbrough Ross, age 86, of Quinlan, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 21, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00AM Friday, August 27, 2021, at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan. Burial will be held at 1:00PM at Hamilton Beeman Cemetery in Corsicana, Texas.

Mary was born on August 30, 1934, in Corsicana, Texas to the late Ira Yarbrough and Nanny Bee Yarbrough. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Harold Yarbrough, and John Yarbrough. Mary was raised and attended school in Corsicana. She began earning her Associates Degree at Navarro Junior College in Corsicana. Mary enjoyed bowling, sewing, shopping, and going to the casino to play the penny slots. She married Melvin Perry Ross on May 3, 1968, in Durant, Oklahoma and they made their home in Garland before moving to the Quinlan. She worked as a food broker for Oliver Taylor and Brownmore Flint until her retirement in 1997. She was an active member of Meadowbrook Missionary Baptist Church in Quinlan.

She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by her Husband, Perry Ross of Quinlan; Son, Randy Ross, and wife Tracy of Bedford; Grandchildren, Nathan Ross of Austin and Leslie Cullen and husband John of Colleyville; Great Grandchild, Annabelle Cullen of Colleyville; K9 Kid, Tina Ross, and many beloved church family members
