Martha Fay (Rayburn) Morris

Martha Fay Rayburn Morris, 88, of Quinlan passed away on June 11, 2022. She was born on February 13, 1934, to Lewis Rayburn and Ida Simpson in Telephone, Texas. 

Martha was a very active lady, she opened the Walnut Cove Marina of Quinlan, on July 1, 1983, and was active in the marina until her death. She loved fishing, cruise ships and had a vacation home on the coast for the winter months where she enjoyed the salt water as well. Martha loved to dance to good country music. She met and made many friends with her time on earth, and she married her late husband, Donald Morris in 1986.Martha will be missed by family and friends.

Martha is Survived by her son, Richard Hill wife Sandy of Frisco, daughters: Patricia Gayle Slovacek of Grapevine, and family: Barbara Perry of Calendor Lake, Nancy Blackmore of Dallas, Shanda Langeberg of Trophy Club and brother: Gary Pettie (Leah) of Ohio.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, her late husband, brothers, James, Riley, Mush, Sam, Haskel, sistesr: Polly, Louise.
