Marion Ray Hall

Marion Ray Hall, age 77, of Quinlan, Texas passed away on July 30, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Marion was born on Monday, October 28, 1946, to parents James Belton Hall Sr. and Mary Lou (Cotrell) Hall in Dallas, Texas. He attended school at Sunset High School and later went on to work as a Telecommunication Tech at Southwestern Bell for 32 years. In his free time, he enjoyed the thrill of going sky diving and S.C.U.B.A diving. His love and knowledge for motorcycles crowned him as a “motorcycle enthusiast” and the love and care that he had for his friends and family made him who he was. He will always be remembered not only as a beloved father and son, but as a wonderful man.

He was preceded in death by his father, brother James Belton Hall Jr., and grandparents James Belton Hall, James Cotrell, and Annie Smith.

Marion is survived by his mother, Mary Lou Hall, son Douglas Shepard, and daughter-in-law Wendy.
