Prior to retiring she cared for special needs patients at Individual Care of Texas Assisted Living. She also worked at Reames Market in Cash and Walmart in Terrell. Family was everything to her and her sacrifices showed this. Her life was always all about others. She loved spreading joy and brightness everywhere she went. Linda was one of the sweetest ladies, being very humble and selfless. She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles and word finds. She was a huge fan of Elvis Presley and enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys. Linda loved animals, but had a special place in her heart for cats. She enjoyed beachcombing and collecting seashells. We lay to rest a lady that gave so much of herself to others and enjoyed doing it. We hold her in our hearts till we see her again.
She is survived by her Daughter, Elizabeth Wheatley Hopkins of Little Elm, Son, Glenn D. Wheatley Jr. and Wife Sandi of Commerce, and Daughter, Rebecca McGee and Husband Robert of Conroe; Grandchildren Glenn D. Wheatley III and Fiancé Jessica Bednar, Shayna S.
