Larry Don Clark of Greenville, Texas, passed away on August 18, 2025, at the age of 78.
Larry was born on December 11, 1946, in Dallas, Texas to Allen and Illa Wayne Clark. He spent much of his childhood in Quinlan with his aunt and uncle. Larry loved the outdoors, was an avid white bass/hybrid/striper fisherman, and, with multiple fishing buddies, fished Lake Texoma, Lake Tawakoni, Lake Ray Hubbard, and Cedar Creek Lake. He also was an expert on all types of guns and loved shooting pistols and rifles. He was a member of the Terrell Gun Club for 20 years. Larry loved ATV’s and off terrain motor bikes and took trips on his Harley Davidson motorcycles with wife Marilyn.
Larry served the public as a deputy sheriff of Rockwall County for several years. He also worked as a long-haul truck driver and as a Food Broker installing store sets for major grocery chains.
He is survived by wife Marilyn Clark and son Larry Shane Clark. In addition to his family, Larry is well-loved by his many fishing buddies and shooting range friends. May he rest in peace!
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
