Katie Leanne Brown

Katie Leanne Brown, age 36, of Quinlan, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00A.M Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan with Ranse Moore officiating. Graveside services will follow at 2:00P.M. at Oaklawn Memorial Cemetery at 3100 FM 317 in Athens, Texas. A visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00P.M. – 7:00P.M. at the funeral home.

Katie Brown was born on Sunday, February 15, 1987, in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Mr. Randy Dale Brown and Gina Carol Goodman Brown. She graduated in 2005 from Ford High School in Quinlan. Katie was an excellent athlete and loved playing basketball, and softball. She was also a coach for the QSA Legends. Katie loved watching reality shows, listening to music and was a huge fan of 1980’s music.  Katie will be remembered for her wicked sense of humor and the creative way she had with her words and thoughts. She loved hard and was fiercely protective of those she loved. Katie and her sister Amanda had great love for each other and laughed so hard when they were together.

She is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by her devoted parents, Randy, and Gina Brown of Quinlan; her beautiful Son, Jacob of Quinlan; Sister, Amanda Carol Brown of Quinlan; Grandfather, John Goodman, and wife Patsy of Lake Palestine; Niece, Gracie Brown of Quinlan and Nephew, Jayse Brown of Quinlan.
