Karen Thompson

We hold in our heart the loving memory of Karen Ann Thompson. Born of Madeline and Mack (Buddy) Cantwell on November 27th 1949. She passed at the age of 75 on August 11, 2025. She has two sisters Sandy & Shana and one late brother James Cantwell. Karen was widowed by her dear husband of 33 years Steven Randolph Thompson. Steve and Karen have 4 children; Kenneth Castleberry, Kelly Robinson, Noell Castleberry & Regina Thompson. Karen has 4 Grandchildren ; Trey Price, Jessica Price, Justin Kincaid and Alexis Kincaid. Karen also has 6 great grandchildren and soon to be 7. Karen developed a love for Billiards with her husband Steve, and she continued that passion through her entire life winning numerous tournaments, trophies and prizes . She had a passion for crocheting making beautiful items that all of the family have been gifted throughout the years. Karen was the most beautiful, brilliant, caring, and generous woman with a heart of gold. She was a devoted believer of Christ. She adored her family, her friendships and her cats. Karen was strongly bonded with her family and her very best friends Joyce Lindop & Rhonda. Words will never describe how remarkable of a person Karen Thompson was or the impact she made on all of our lives. Karen will be forever missed and always in our hearts.
