June Glenn Obituary

June Glenn, age 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00am Monday, October 30, 2023, at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan. Graveside services will follow at 2:00p.m. at Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham, Texas.

Pallbearers for the service will be her grandsons, Mark Glenn, Matthew Glenn, Michael Glenn, Joshua Cobb, Jason Schleter, and Joshua Schleter. Honorary Pallbearer will be her great grandson, Tyson Cobb.

June Cockrill Glenn was born on Thursday, September 14, 1939 in Bonham, Texas to the late Mr. Thomas P. Cockrill and Marie Landers Cockrill.  She attended school in Bonham before moving to Dallas at the age of 15. She attended Crozier Technical High School in Dallas. June enjoyed all sports, was a talented softball player and an avid Texas Rangers Fan. June was also an avid Elvis Presley fan. She will be remembered for her compassion through her volunteer and donation work with numerous charities.  June also enjoyed embroidery and bird watching. She married Utah Glenn in Dallas on June 2, 1980, and he preceded her in death on February 15, 2015. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Chester, Michael, and Jack Cockrill and four sisters, Alice Sharb, Betty Staton, Joan Miller, and Ellen Mormon.

She is dearly loved and will be truly missed by her three devoted daughters, Debbie Plouffe and husband Jeff of Carrollton, Kathy Glenn and husband David of Quinlan, and Traci Langle and partner Kenneth Laminack of Tool. Grandchildren, Jason Schleter, Josh Schleter, Mark Glenn, Matthew Glenn, Michael Glenn, Stephanie Cobb, Amber Jackson, Ashley Norris, Taylor Long, and Hailey Chambers. Great Grandchildren, Tess Glenn, Makaya Cobb, Tyson Cobb, Corey Jackson, Lexie Jackson, Addison Norris, Finley Norris, and Kaleb Long.

Please feel free to wear Red, White and Blue for the support of the Rangers since Mom loved them so much.
