Judie Catheryn Hamilton, 71, passed away January 22, 2021 at her home in Princeton, Texas. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Ingram Funeral Home.
Judie was born on August 9, 1949 in Carutherville, Missouri to Cager William Sutton and Lottie Mae Hamilton. She was raised in Missouri and lived there until her early 20’s when she moved to Rockwall, Texas. In 1970 she met Dale Trease and they married in 2010. He passed away in 2013. Judie was a homemaker and helped her husband as a carpet layer. She enjoyed the outdoors and grew a garden of fruits and vegetables that she shared with others. Judie also enjoyed knitting, was a Chuck Norris and Walker Texas Ranger fan. She was a coffee drinker and loved Big Red gum. Judie loved family – her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids and was a loving Granny and GiGi. She is preceded in death by both her parents, and her husband.
She is loved and will be missed by her daughters Tina Calvert and husband Norberto Cazares of Princeton, Texas and Misty Sutton of Plano, Texas; sons Roy Sutton of Wylie, Texas and Lance Boomer Sutton and wife Paula of Dripping Springs, Texas; sisters Diane Bargainer and husband Mike of Dallas, Texas, Debbie Quill of Dallas, Texas, and Brenda Wigington of Houston, Texas; brothers Rube Sutton of Bedford, Texas, Dewayne Sutton of Savannah, Georgia, Richard Sutton and wife Kathy of Savannah, Georgia, and Arthur Benton and wife Betty of Kevil, Kentucky; grandchildren Jennifer Sutton of El Reno, Oklahoma, Jessica Sutton of Anna, Texas, Paul Sutton and wife Taylor of Allen, Texas, Johnathan Sutton and wife Lyssa of Norman, Oklahoma, Samantha Sutton of Kingsland, Texas, Lisa Williams and husband Kevin of Princeton, Texas, Austin Trease of Savannah, Georgia, Forrest Trease of Savannah, Georgia, Trevor Sawyer of Oklahoma, Douglas Sutton and Danielle Harris of Colorado, Olivia Sutton of Dripping Strings, Texas, Monica Lawrence of Kansas, Mahayla Silliman of Dripping Springs, Texas and Aaron Putnam of Missouri; great-grandchildren Braylin, Ethan, Madelynn, Eligh, Aliyah, Amelya, Ariel, Vincent, and Paul II.
