Jody Lee (Blevins) Blevins

Jody Lee Blevins, 61, of Quinlan passed away on June 15, 2022. She was born on March 3, 1961, in Garland, TX to Bobby Mitchell and Willa McVey.

Jody attended Garland High School and later worked in her mother’s restaurant, Willie’s Westaurant in Quinlan.

She loved her two cats, Prissy Butt and Patches. She had a green thumb and enjoyed taking care of her plants.

Jody is survived by her daughters: Lacy Parker and husband, Brandon of Forney, Tiffany Gillum and husband, Andrew of Royse City; brother, Troy Morrison of Quinlan; sister, Laura (JB) Fincher and brother-in-law Ronnie of Garland; grandchildren: Chase Baker, Chandler Chism, Carter Simmons, Rhett Gillum, Rylan Gillum, River Gillum; step-grandsons: John and Carter Parker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Blevins; mother, Willa McVey; father, Bobby Mitchell; and stepfather, Ramon Ragsdale.

There will be a memorial service at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 24, 2022, at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan.
