Jay Dee " Buck" Beatte

Jay Beatte, age 70, passed away on July 30, 2025.

Jay was born in Dallas, TX on June 1, 1955 to William Beatte, Sr. and Edith Ulissi.

Jay enjoyed hunting for and collecting fossils, rocks, and arrowheads. He loved road trips. He liked simple things like working on cars and going to the flea market. Most of all, he loved his pets.

He is survived by his son Jay Beatte, Jr., grandchildren Laura, Marissa, Amanda, and Conner, several great grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law Mark and Candy, brother and sister-in-law Clint and Sabrina, sister and brother-in-law Jo Ann and Kirk, sisters Susan and Cathy, and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Johnson, father William Beatte, Sr., Mother Edith Ulissi, brother William Beatte, Jr., and brother Larry Beatte.

Services for Jay Beatte will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 2:00PM at Northshore Gospel Church, 1135 Northshore Road, Quinlan, TX 75474 with Shannon Salsman officiating.
