Jan C Unser

Jan C Unser, 71, of Quinlan went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 9, 2023.

She was born on August 27, 1951, in Midland, Texas to Emily Kirkham and TJ Chapman. She was raised in Midland and moved to Quinlan in August of 1983.  Jan attended Robert E. Lee High School and went on to work for the Texas Department of Public Safety at the drivers licensing office where she eventually retired in Quinlan after 17 years of service, which is where she met her husband Mike Unser of 27 years. She enjoyed reading in her spare time along with knitting and crocheting. Jan attended church at Gloryland Baptist in Quinlan where she made many friends who shared their love for the Lord. Jan was a kind gentle soul who will be forever missed. Jan was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, mother, and great-grandmother. She was an amazing friend who cared deeply for others.

Jan is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her husband Mike; sons: Randell and Richard Snody, both of Quinlan; brother Dan Chapman of Quinlan; granddaughter Haley Hobden and husband Jake of Quinlan; and great-granddaughter Eloise Hobden and extended family and friends.

Jan was preceded in death by her parents.
