Caddo Mills — James Edward "Eddy” King passed away on January 19, 2023, at the age of 67after a brief battle with cancer. Eddy was born in Franklin, TN on February 27, 1955, to Jimmy and Ida Mai King. He was a1974 graduate of Franklin High School. He lived in and around Dallas, Texas since 1981 and Caddo Mills, Texas for the last 15years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Mai King, of Franklin, TN.

He is survived by his wife of19 years, Linda Hunter King; daughters, Rachel (Christopher)Gardner of San Diego, CA; Bonny (Alan) Joseph of Port Clinton, OH; Emily Pugh of Elizabeth City, NC; stepson, Jason (Jennifer) Boehme of Forney, TX; grandchildren, Chesney Boehme, Kendra Pugh, Paxton Gardner, Piper Gardner; father, Jimmy King; sister, Katherine (Rocky)Rodes; brother, Walter King of Franklin, TN. Eddy was a jack of all trades and a great woodworker, skills he learned from his grandfather and father. Throughout his lifetime,

Eddy worked construction, roofing, cable installation, and lastly for Rubbermaid. At Eddy’s request, no service will be held. Memorial donations may be made in Eddy’s name to the charity of your choice.
