James Michael Hartin

James Michael Hartin, age 73, of Mesquite, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021, at his home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00P.M. Monday, August 30, 2021, at Lynch Cemetery in Point with Pastor Ray Hunter officiating.

Michael Hartin was born on January 12, 1948, in Waxahachie, Texas to the late James Thomas Hartin and Syble Bray Hartin. He married Mary Ellen Porter on May 12, 1985, in Emory, Texas and they moved to the Mesquite area in 1994. Mike was a hardworking man. He owned and operated a Landscaping Equipment Business and worked for Magneto Power in Dallas, Texas for 13 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Danny Hartin.

He is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by his devoted wife, Mary Hartin of Mesquite; stepsons, Monty Pinson of Houston and Terry Pinson and wife Phyllis of Sulphur Springs; stepdaughters, Rhonda Franklin of Alba; Paula Potts-Pugh and husband Bob of Emory; sister, LaDell Foster and husband of Red Oak; 5 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
