James Freeman

James Lee Freeman was born in Burkburnett, Texas  on February 16, 1958 to Winston and Winnie Freeman. Jim’s early years were spent growing up and playing in the oil fields of Burkburnett where his beloved grandparents lived and worked. This is where he developed his vast knowledge and love for animals, fishing , and being outdoors that continued all his life. Jim passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025 , leaving  behind to cherish his memory a sister, Cynthia, a brother, Phillip, and 3 nieces and several great nieces and nephews. 

A celebration of Jim’s life will be held sometime in the early spring in Burkburnett where he was born and where his family is interred.
